Bucket List

"It is good to have an end to journey toward, but it is the journey that matters in the end.” - Ursula K. Le Guin

Sometimes I wonder, if I'm going to die today, am I fulfilled? Was I able to achieve all the things I want to do while I'm on earth?  Am I going to die with no regrets? Or simply, Was I happy?

These are the questions that I don't want to ask in time that I'm going to say bye bye to the world. I want to die with fulfilling heart, happiness and with no regrets. Time runs too fast. As my brother says, time is running and our clock is ticking.

I'm 31 years of age and I'm proud of it. I've done so many things in life (both good and bad). But, still there's so many things that I want to do before my life's journey ends. I'm taking down my bucket list (in no particular order) and cross out the things that I've done starting today:

1.   Skydiving

2.   Fire a real gun (in the shooting range, ofcourse!)
3.   Pose like Tomb Raider in Angkor Wat, Cambodia.
4.   Visit my family in United States.
5.   Swim with the dolphins or whales!
6.   Picture in Grand Canyon, Arizona.
7.   Have my own child.
8.   Be in two places at one time.
9.   Ride a carabao.
10. Farm like a farmer.
11. Attend a mass in St. Peter Basilica (Vatican, Rome).
12. Tour in London.
13. Watch all 'Top 100 Films of All Time' (credits to American Film Institute)
14. Cliff diving
15. Tour around Metro Manila (I live and grew up in Manila but never had a chance to appreciate the tourist spots!)
16. Fishing

These are just some of the things I want to do before I die, some might seems impossible but for me everything is possible!

Blogspot Revival

I created this blog years ago. Wrote so many things about how my life was. Been dedicated into writing but in a glimpse, I decided to delete all my post and started from the very beginning. My first post after deleting the old was about my trip to Cebu. It was also my last.

It was just like something came up to me and decided to take a look again in my almost dead website. After reading my first and last blog since 2012, I just had one question, what happened?

This was my comfort zone and I like to have it again. I want to share my life's ups and downs. This is the place I want to have again. I place that I can call mine.

All About CEBU

One of the things I wanna do before I die is to roam around the country. I've been to Ilocos, Zambales, Batangas, Baguio, Guimaras Island, Iloilo, Bohol and one of my favorite places, Boracay. To continue my journey, the recent place I've been was... CEBU.

It's my second time to be in this province and I must say that I fell in love with this place. Cebu is rich in culture, heritage, food, beach and of course, history.

Day 1:
My sister and I arrived in Cebu around 10:10 in the morning and went straight to our hotel. We booked our first day of stay in Cebu at Hotel Stella. It is one of the most recommended place to stay for tourist with limited budget. It offers affordable rates but classy and elegant ambiance as well. I must say that this was a good choice.

On our first lunch at Cebu, we opted to eat at Golden Cowrie. We don't know what to expect, however, we were not disappointed. It was a good choice, actually. We loved the food, especially, the Baked Scallops.

We went straight to Crown Regency Hotel after lunch to experience the Skywalk Adventure as well as the Edge Coaster. It was a blast experience! The feeling of being at the top of the world. :)

Day 2:
We checked out at Hotel Stella at 8am and started our city day tour. I made a car service reservation 2 days before we arrived in Cebu. Our driver/tour guide - Michael was friendly and very accommodating. We've been to different tourist spots in Cebu - Taoist Temple, The Tops, Karsel sa Sugbo, Heritage of Cebu Monument, Magellan's Cross, Sto. Nino Church, Fort San Pedro, Lapu-lapu Shrine and Villa Eco (Butterfly Sanctuary). We had lunch at the famous Casa Verde. The food was awesome and cheap! Super delicious! It was really an amazing day. On the afternoon, Michael dropped us at Imperial Palace for our 2 days stay at the said resort.

Day 3-4:
It was my sister's birthday and spent most of our time at the shore. It's all about the beach, sun, food and people. Imperial Palace offers the finest food but pricey. Well, of course, what to expect in a five star resort/hotel.

Overall, Cebu is one the best place I've been. You can find everything in Cebu. I great place to stay away from Manila. It's highly recommended for everyone who loves to travel and explore.
